I bought my first dozer in 2006 — a John Deere 450G — and started with jobs on my own farm.
The neighbors asked next, then their friends, and by 2020 there was enough work to quit everything else and run the machines full time. Twenty years later the work still comes the same way: somebody I did a job for tells somebody else.
There are three of us — me, one full-time hand and one part-time. That is enough to keep two machines moving on a job and still small enough that the man who looked at your place and priced it is the one running the dozer on it.
Estimates are free, I carry insurance, and there is no charge to come look. If it is not work worth doing, I will tell you that too.
